Moonboon’s Product Development department aims to create innovative sleep solutions for babies with a focus on safety, comfort, and quality. Product development takes place in close collaboration with both experts and designers, with weekly stand-up meetings to ensure progress and address challenges.

About the position

As the Head of Engineering, you will have a strategic and leadership role, responsible for driving Moonboon’s software development and ensuring strong collaboration between software and hardware teams. You will play a key role in the continued development of innovative products with a focus on new technologies.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop the software team and ensure close integration with hardware development.
• Drive the development of new features, including AI and IoT solutions.
• Be responsible for app development, data collection, and analysis, ensuring that Moonboon’s products remain innovative and user-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation by introducing new technologies and ensuring quality in projects.
• Establish effective collaboration processes between software and hardware development.
• Ensure a strategic and technical direction that supports the company’s growth.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in software development, including technical understanding and the ability to provide feedback on code.
• Experience with project management and stakeholder management.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, Kotlin, Swift, or AWS is an advantage.
