SAP business consultant, Sales and Distribution at Lundbeck A/S, placed in the center of Copenhagen

Capax is looking for a skilled and ambitious SAP business consultant within SAP Sales and Distribution for our customer Lundbeck A/S. You will have a unique opportunity to be part of Lundbeck’s transition from ECC to S/4HANA, where you will play an important role both in the testing process and later also the implementation of the S/4HANA, especially from a user perspective.

You will join the Process Support Team with 5 competent colleagues who provide SAP- and distribution support. Process Support is part of Planning and Distribution, and the department has the ambition of creating the best supply chain in the pharmaceutical industry.

As SAP business consultant you will act as a connector for LoB/end users using the SAP SD module. Your key stakeholders will be Lundbeck’s subsidiaries, Finance, Shipping, Warehousing and IT. Your close collaboration with these stakeholders gives you the opportunity to gain knowledge of needs and working methods across the organization.

User support will be one of your primary tasks. Your daily work consists of providing exceptional first line user support and having daily interaction with the users to provide optimal support in relation to both daily SAP challenges and development in relation to user needs. In addition to securing the system, you will be responsible for training the users and making sure that the training material is updated. If you succeed in making users able to navigate in the SAP SD module, recognize known problems and solve challenges next time they meet them, you have succeeded well. 

You will also be responsible for continuously improving the system, optimizing processes and assessing change wishes. In connection with relevant changes, you must engage with stakeholders to define user requirements, prepare requirement specifications, test writing and test execution as well as ensure updates of process descriptions. Dealing with these tasks you will have a close collaboration with the IT solution architects in Lundbeck. As you have a unique view into the challenges that the organisation may meet when working in SAP, you are expected to identify trends and challenges related to the system, dig into these and independently propose solutions that are useful across a larger user-group.

You will be working in a regulated industry. Therefore, GxP behaviour and a large focus on documenting and testing solutions will be of key importance, both when supporting users on day-to-day challenges and when working in larger projects.

Requirements

Your profile

• You have a relevant higher education with a background in, for example, production, engineering, cand.merc. or supply chain.
• You have experience with SAP Sales and Distribution. It is an advantage if you also have experience with equivalent modules such as SAP EWM, SAP MM, SAP FI, SAP WM, SAP ATTP.
• You probably already have experience with S/4 HANA
• You have solid experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office programs
• You have solid experience with the working method LEAN
• You might already have experience with the pharmaceutical industry
• You have excellent communication skills in English.
