About the department

Their Global IT department consists of 10 dedicated professionals, with 7 based at the headquarters in
Holbæk. The department is structured into four focus areas: Helpdesk, Security, Application & Operation,
and Strategic Projects. This role will join the Application & Operation team as the fourth member, becomingthe key cloud expert and go-to person for all cloud-related initiatives.

About the job

They’re beginning the cloud transformation, moving from a primarily on-premises setup (currently 60% on-
prem and 40% cloud) to a more structured and optimized cloud architecture. This journey is a top priority for
the leadership, with full support and resources allocated to building a scalable and secure Azure-basedenvironment.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping this transformation, ensuring a pragmatic
and balanced approach that respects our history while enabling future growth. The position reports to theSenior Director, Head of Global IT.

The responsibilities of the role include:

• Cloud Architecture & Operations: Designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining their Azure application platform.
• Process Development: Identifying and filling gaps in existing processes to ensure a structured approach to cloud operations.
• System Integration & Digitalization: Collaborating closely with business departments to integrate and modernize systems, such as HR platforms.
• Compliance: Managing regulatory requirements, including validation, audits, and control reports, in a highly regulated industry.
• Vendor collaboration: Establishing and maintaining a close working relationship with the IT
  vendor to ensure their solutions align with and effectively support the business needs.

About you

You have experience from a company within the regulated industry, e.g., pharmaceutical, life science,
biotech, food & beverage, finance.

To thrive in this role, you bring:

• Cloud Expertise: 2-3 years of experience with Azure and Microsoft 365, including some exposure to cloud architecture and platform management.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with working in regulated industries, including validation and compliance.
• Hands-on Attitude: A willingness to tackle tasks beyond the typical scope of a cloud engineer to support the team’s broader goals.
• As a person, you’re self-driven, collaborative, patient and eager to leverage your expertise.
